hahaha went to klcc, times square and midvalley with steph and kyo today! We had loads of fun. Of course kyo was the only one doing any shopping. It was like everything was free. Oh man, I wish i could afford to shop like that. Not that I would, I'd just enjoy knowing that I could.

Haha I did most of my homework and passed them up on time and i went BOWLING. Oh and i joined some orchestra thingy. I also bought flowers for all my friends for valentine's and went for an overnight trip with people from school. I RAN DURING SPORTS DAY!!!!plus loads of other stuff but it might bore you to read it.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't bother making any. But I resolve to become even nerdIER than i am now. which means actually doing ALL important homework and no cramming during exams because I WILL study..................i hope

er...no.

My grandma. dont want to elaborate.

i ran 400m during sports day and i did not get last.

I LOVED my birthday!! I couldnt celebrate it because my grandma passed away. But lynn and bee got me a cake anyway and they (stef, sarah, elsa, lynn n bee) RECITED the birthday song without candles n whatnot. It was sooo thoughtful and sweet of them. Thanks guys!!

Having all of us in the same class.

i Found this pic while looking for blog templates . Isn't it sad? why would a little girl in a pretty pooffy fairy costume be sad? ok. stupid question. but the theme of the blog was something about being left alone and how dreams were not meant to come true. How morbid. So I was wondering, what happens if you dont live the fairytale ending and your dreams did not come true? We all think (at least education wants us to)that every day we live, every step we take is supposed to lead us to some kind of ultimatumish thing where every dream/ambition we have is supposed to come true. what if it doesn't???then wont our lives become a big waste of food water and oxygen?(ok, so maybe not) we could always find other things to pursue but deep in our hearts we know we would be settling for second best. how terrible.

anyway, steph ,stef and sarah have agreed to chip in for the tiffany bracelets! How nice of them. Oh, and i just received a christmas card from sarah. THANKS SARAH! Its so sweet of her. the card's really cute with lots of cute santa's piled in front. and it came in a burgundy envelope. bee bee has just discovered my blog HELLO BEE BEE!

My mad parents want to get me a pda (dont know why i need one) so my mom, aunty and i went to low yat to check some out. haha, the hp ipaq is pretty cool. its got a biometric fingerprint reader! its cool even though i dont know why it needs one either. I've got a choice between a pda or a creative zen mp3 thingy. choices choices....maybe i wont get either and just ask for a shoes. or just ask for nothing and insist that they not waste their money.

Cant beleive I have to go for class later

blegh woke up at twelve and i've just been informed that I gotta go for class later =(.............oh wait.......Rachel just called and she cant make it. Yay! Maybe i dont have to go afterall!
Went for my grandma's birthday dinner yesterday. I nearly forgot about it (whoops!) untill my mom reminded me the night before. I got her a set of annick goutal parfums (la saisons) so everything turned out ok at first. We had catering done by some shanghainese restaurant from marriott i think. It could've been westin.My mad cousins ordered 999 roses for the party. We unpetaled them and sprinkled the petals on the floor. The house looked quite nice and the smell of roses was everywhere cuz every step you take, you would be crushing some poor rose's petals and the smell would waft into the air.Felt quite dirty after awhile actually, but no one else seemed to share my opinion. Sometime during the evening, my cousins got bored and wanted to do some steamboat thing so I was asked to get the contraption ready. So dutifully I plugged the thing in. when I turned on the switch, there was a bright FLASH of white light followed by a THUNDEROUS BOOM!!!!!!!!...............................................................................................then darkness......................
great. So I blew a couple of fuses and we were forced to continue our evening bathed in candlelight. Luckily there was a natural breeze blowing so it wasnt humid.

In which I had a bloody nightmare(literally)
I dreamt that a bunch of us (I'm not really sure who now,but zeng zhou was there) murdered zainab and michelle (not yap. my violin teacher's daughter). i'm not really sure why either. I remember strangling zainab with a librarian tie. I think I did it but in my dream i was watching as a third party. and we slit open michelle's throat (I'm not sure why because she is such a sweet child) but it was dark and there was no blood. and zeng zhou was like where's the trakea?
anyway, we left our victims for dead, and on our way out, everybody managed to escape unnoticed except me. Some lady came and asked if I had seen zeng zhou and zainab. I told her I hadn't seen them since the day before and was soooo releived when she believed me and walked away, because my heart was pounding in my chest like mad, I could even hear the echoes in my ears and i was stammering like crazy. all this happened at about late evening.

The next day..........................................

I went to school through the front gate (which is REALLY weird) and I saw zainab standing in the foyer with in a black kebaya and her horrid plastic specs. She was glaring at me like crazy and threatened to report my murderous ways to fat P. I was TERRIFIED!!! I had to beg her (on my knees) for mercy!!! ................but to no avail...she vowed to haunt me and bring me to justice!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh no.......
I took a ktm to flee from the now evil zainab. In my moments of desperation, I called grandpa (jun Hao) to SAVE MEEEEE!!! Like the responsible child he normally is, He soon came in his pajero, skillfully steering on the train's tracks. Just like in an action movie, I somehow broke a window with my fists and climbed through the windows and into the temporary safety of grandpa's pajero.
For some obscure reason, Gramps drove me to what seemed like Takashimaya. He dropped me off at the underground car park and left for a dental appointment. Then as the car pulled away......there stood... ZAINAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember running a lot and holding a mop. (because i accidentally shoved the stupid mop into my own face while running) then sarah came with a basin of water and made me wash my hands. I was like ??!!! I'm like busy!
. Then some green goo comes to mind. nothing else. I probably woke up.


Went to midval with steph today for lunch. We brainstormed a bit for prom and here are some ideas:

1.as we are afterall, librarians (except prefect goh) we could host a meeting and come up with a committee. In the lecture theatre of course.
2. Have prom in a colonial mansion at klpac instead of hotel.
-meaning we have to decorate
-and cater
-and hire dj
....sounds expensive? its not!

if we charge 75-120 a ticket

I'm sure ten thousand is enough to cover an event
3.Get photographers to cover event so ppl can like order albums and stuff

sounds like sarah's committee nightmare is coming true. But i figured we could find a really kind soul to be the event manager of the night and make sure evrything runs smoothly. we could pay him and give him a free meal.

In which I dont actually have to go out for a whole day!

I excercised to day! which is a big deal for me because i havent spontaneously, willingly, and initiatively sweat for like, a year? Normally i just go for yoga once a week and thats it, no more vigorous activity.But today, when I woke up at about eight, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and there was not a cloud in the sky, and i thought, heck, why not? so i yoga-ed a bit by the pond before popping off to consume my nutritious and fiberous yet almost delicious breakfast.

Oh, prom was quite fun (well more fun than i thought it would be). We rented gowns from some bridal store and wore tiaras (figured we could be as silly as we wanted to be since it wasnt even our prom) with HUGE square sunglasses (tacky i know, but we couldn't resist).

Went shopping with my aunts the day before that (tuesday, i presume). They just got back from some meditation course thingy in india the week before. India sounds awesome! They got me loads of useless random things like 10 one dollar shawls (I have almost all the colours of the rainbow now), an egg cup (??), some silver models of an elephant family, a candlebra (which now resides in my bathroom), and loads of other useless things. I know I should be grateful (which i am,just should be more grateful) but they really shouldn't have.I suppose they felt they had to contribute to the indian economy.

They went mad shopping at klcc, then bukit bintang, THEN 1U. We started at like 9.30 in the morning and only ended at like 10pm. The cashiers were running to like 4 figures ,its like they've been banned to shop for a century and have suddenly been let loose in a sale (which they were; let loose on a sale i mean). They even got me some more stuff. I got this cool corset top thingy but the tie tie things are in the front and some more shoes and some skirts and a few other tops.They plan to go shopping AGAIN next week. they're convinced that new clothes will just keep arriving every week untill christmas or new year.

Past few weeks were quite hectic and i had to go for some class or other everyday. Thank goodness I had nothing to do today. watched reruns of finding nemo and love actually. a nice mindless activity.

Read sarah's blog about letting things be and stuff. i think its a pretty good idea. I've probabaly been doing it all along but the result being, you never fall in love, at all. But thats not so bad. At least when you're not in love(thats what i think they're still calling it) you dont have to be obsessed. I think.

I think we should meet up with steph SOON.

sigh.....got tagged by steff (I just learned today that in this context being 'tagged' means I have to come up with five random things about myself.) Although I find this rather pointless i shall comply to amuse myself and my friends.
So here goes.......

Five random things about yan
1.I like to stick things in the microwave. (as you all know, its not always food. In fact, i rarely put food in)

2. I DETEST ALL SMOKERS. (In my opinion,they should all be put to death(mandatory), or they can be tortured by me. I'll put them in a white empty room in strait jackets seated in a circle. Light a million cigarettes (all that second hand smoke!) and play crazy frog 24/7 for a YEAR. F.Y.I, food and refreshments will not be provided so they will not last long) :)

3.I'd like to dance in a harem in istanbul one day.(Sounds totally scandalous. But do they still make non whore harems?Is there like a respectable harem kind of thing? Is a harem not respectable??no clue. It just seems so exotic)

4.I want to be a jet-fighter pilot. Or a jet pilot. Or a regular pilot. I just want to fly something. and land on one of those cool air-craft carrier things in the middle of an ocean. (Imagine landing on a fast moving thing!, coolnya)

5. I want to be an lrt driver after spm. (if you know anything about it, please drop me a line. is there any training required? cuz it looks easy. kind of like ps2)

If I have offended you by sounding very much like an airhead, I am truly sorry (unless you are of course, a smoker)
