Whats happening to our high school life? Its almost the end of FEBRUARY!! Gosh....and to think school just started and first term hols are round the corner already (AFTER the
EXAMS of course)I skipped school today in order to sleep and study. But all I've managed to do is sleep, watch
LOVE Actually, make quiche and a toblerone cheese cake. Sigh. Maybe I'll just flunk the first term. the Kiasu in me tells me that thats not an option but the rest of me is not listening.Valentine's Over. Leadership Camp is.Over. Librarian Installation is Over as well.
Sigh............
But it was such a blast while it happened. I guess thats all that matters.
Leadership Camp was really awesome! Eng Huat and I were facilitators of Group eleven! (my darlings) a.k.a. The Funky Monkeys. They won The TEAM CHALLENGE and came out second for best group. I'm actually really surprised because i did not expect to function as a team by themselves but thanks to their kickass leader (Rachel Heah), THEY DID!
The firedrill thing was funny and everyone looked great on retro night (only those who had bothered to dress up, mind you)
I think The Mystery was the most fun. We HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN! For like Famine or something. But the kids asked some really stupid questions:
1. Why do you think you are crazy?
2. Do you think you look bitchy?
and the list goes on...................................
but it was fun to organise it and act it out
The
DREAM TEAM- before the Final Showdown which made them CHAMPION The indispensable facilitators
Groups 11 & 12! Funky monkeys and Powers!!
Elsa In dirty dirty wig. She looks great though. no surprise there.
Us on REtro Night!
......And Once again Je Te Presente ......The FUNKY MONKEYS *hearts*
Camp really changed my point of view of many things.
- Some people whom I used to dislike just because turned out to be nice and i was just really prejudiced all along.
- My friends really are the most capable, berkaliber, most patient people in the world. If not, a certain body will be dead and the camp would not have happened at all.
- Eng Huat (who used to be just the handphone guy) is now a singing yowling/yoddling fellow facilitator and friend.
- Kuo Jian is hotass in a skirt
- My phone alarm is uber annoying (even though I couldn't hear it =p)
- Bad things happen to good people (pui yee's phone was stolen)
- Jack and Eng Huat must be one of the sweetest people
- Canteen food is not so bad afterall
- I can touch the canteen ceiling!!
- You can sing tong hua all day and not get sick of it
- Confessions is quite a nice song
hm....thats all i can think of for now
will get pictures from installation soon.....we posered around a bit with the prefects. so...there are quite a number of pictures

Could this day get any worse?
Its the end of the weekend, the end of chinese new year and I've lost my lrt card.........
Oh and I lost my school diary. Cuz my sister got mugged and my diary was in her bag. Poor thing. Her mp3 is gone.....but luckily her phone was smart enough to fall out of her bag while they snatched it. She's rewarding her phone by giving it new clothes.
Went to Times square with bee and lynn yesterday. We had so much fun but didn't buy anything. Cant wait to watch the japanese series lynn bought.
Went to klcc with fluffers today to buy zeng zhou's present. because I'm a nice person.
I got him black shades, a cute pen and zara shoes, which he probably doesn't really deserve but luckily for him I loved them and I had to get them for him. Fluffers thinks that it would be weird to receive shoes for one's birthday and he thought i should've gotten him a card reader instead. but nah, shoes are cool. They had black slightly pointy WAY shiny shoes for men but they came in like size 100 so I didn't get them. =(
Oh and I havent done my boxes. Mommy's gonna help me with them later. whoops. They're for chocolates for valentine's day.
Jern's leaving on the sixteenth for adelaide. and she'll only be back in dec. sigh. everybody's leaving.
It's Valentine's Day on Tuesday and except for 3 of us, the rest of us will be spending the day alone together. Again; Naturally.
Which isn't a big deal, really. Because I think that when you meet the love of your life. Time stops. haha, totally irrelavant. But yeah when you meet THE love of your life, every time your heart was broken, every valentine's day you had to spend alone, everytime at anytime in your life you felt all emo and morbid would be worth it just because of him and that you're with him now.
Isn't that lovely?

Check out new depressing template. Will change it as soon as I'm sick of it. (should be pretty soon cuz the songs get annoying). Supposed to be studying for bio test. Gave up after three chapters. Nothing will stick in my brain.
I missed kwong the other day. When I went to bsc. Wanted to call her to ask her to come along. then I realised that
SHE'S NOT HERE!!! I was so crushed. Dont you all agree that she sounds so stressed? It was so brave of her to skip a whole year. and lynn's less sad now (i believe she was actually happy on monday). Good for her. I like happy lynnie. will attempt to cram some bio again....bye bye blog

I'm supposed to be doing my
commonwealth essay but I just cannot seem to get started. School starts TOMORROW. sigh.My cousin had his engagment party last night and I've got to go for some registration ceremony thing later. He wont have his wedding untill later this year just because all the coolest places have already been booked. haha how typical. Talked to Gavin about my essay last night (or rather, this morning) and now I actually have something to write about! Chen tried to help but all he came up with was this:
How am I supposed to be inspired by a bunch of candles?! Apparently it was something he made for his girlfriend for her birthday. How sweet. Didn't know that he had it in him.
Anyway, Chinese New Year was a blast! A whole week of eating, collecting money, the occasional gamble and a reason to look your best everyday. Will post picture of me in yukata soon (for beebee) . The shanghai Red lipstick was awesome!
and will post pictures from my birthday as soon as I receive them from Kwong.
Thank You all SOOOO Much for everyrhing you've done! The banner, cake, presents, video bla bla bla. It was all wonderful and really made everything perfect. with, of course the HUGE blemish that stef and sarah could not come but that was inevitable. Oh and I've got to post pictures of my presents because sarah has not seen them. Once again, so much has happened since my last post (maybe I should update more frequently)
1.Wei Jin and I are 17 =(
2.I'm now the proud owner of a hair iron straightener thing
3. Kwong is now back in Aussie =(
4.I'm probably 5 inches wider
5.I can now more or less understand whats going on at a mahjong game! (still a little hazy though)
6. My cousin's engaged or rather, registered (apparently this still allows you to receive angpows and exempts you from giving out any because you have not had the banquet and tea ceremony)
7.Pin Ruh's back from Shanghai!
and so on. cant really remember everything. =)
I'm actually reading A Short History of nearly Everything. (courtesy Of the school library) and it is surprisingly good. Jianhua told me it was dead boring, but its NOT. Its actually quite funny.
oh and I went to BSC the other day to do some food shopping and.........
BOOKBINDERS IS OPEN THERE (or rather has just been opened) I LOVE THEIR ORGANISERS!!!!! AND its cheaper than singapore!!! (only slightly though, but the point is: THEY'RE HERE) mummy generously bought me an organizer as I was broke from all the food shopping. I wanted to cook a four-course dinner and everything amounted to almost 200 dollars. I didn't go to chen's house so that i could cook. =(. But dinner was really good. appetizer: marinated mushrooms and French onion soup Main courses: ravioli in white clam sauce and Cod cooked in lemon and thyme Dessert: peach sherbert. yum yum yum yum. My family loved it too (except I'm the only one who loves Cod fish) Oh and I've Finally watched memoirs of a Geisha (loved the setting and gong li was hot but acting was weird and aren't her eyes supposed to be grey??)And I've Finally watched
PRIDE & PREJUDICE and i lllove it!!!!!Elizabeth is pretty and jane is so sweet. Pemberley is GORGEOUS!!!! script was excellent and MR. Darcy is absolutely wonderful.
Blogger is being difficult and refuses to upload any pictures. *glares at blogger
"You have bewitched me body and soul, and i Love...I Love...I Love you. I never wish to be parted from you as of this day." (or something along those lines)
Oh! Swoonesssigh......must bugger off for registration thing.........
