Whats happening to our high school life? Its almost the end of FEBRUARY!! Gosh....and to think school just started and first term hols are round the corner already (AFTER the
EXAMS of course)I skipped school today in order to sleep and study. But all I've managed to do is sleep, watch
LOVE Actually, make quiche and a toblerone cheese cake. Sigh. Maybe I'll just flunk the first term. the Kiasu in me tells me that thats not an option but the rest of me is not listening.Valentine's Over. Leadership Camp is.Over. Librarian Installation is Over as well.
Sigh............
But it was such a blast while it happened. I guess thats all that matters.
Leadership Camp was really awesome! Eng Huat and I were facilitators of Group eleven! (my darlings) a.k.a. The Funky Monkeys. They won The TEAM CHALLENGE and came out second for best group. I'm actually really surprised because i did not expect to function as a team by themselves but thanks to their kickass leader (Rachel Heah), THEY DID!
The firedrill thing was funny and everyone looked great on retro night (only those who had bothered to dress up, mind you)
I think The Mystery was the most fun. We HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN! For like Famine or something. But the kids asked some really stupid questions:
1. Why do you think you are crazy?
2. Do you think you look bitchy?
and the list goes on...................................
but it was fun to organise it and act it out
The
DREAM TEAM- before the Final Showdown which made them CHAMPION The indispensable facilitators
Groups 11 & 12! Funky monkeys and Powers!!
Elsa In dirty dirty wig. She looks great though. no surprise there.
Us on REtro Night!
......And Once again Je Te Presente ......The FUNKY MONKEYS *hearts*
Camp really changed my point of view of many things.
- Some people whom I used to dislike just because turned out to be nice and i was just really prejudiced all along.
- My friends really are the most capable, berkaliber, most patient people in the world. If not, a certain body will be dead and the camp would not have happened at all.
- Eng Huat (who used to be just the handphone guy) is now a singing yowling/yoddling fellow facilitator and friend.
- Kuo Jian is hotass in a skirt
- My phone alarm is uber annoying (even though I couldn't hear it =p)
- Bad things happen to good people (pui yee's phone was stolen)
- Jack and Eng Huat must be one of the sweetest people
- Canteen food is not so bad afterall
- I can touch the canteen ceiling!!
- You can sing tong hua all day and not get sick of it
- Confessions is quite a nice song
hm....thats all i can think of for now
will get pictures from installation soon.....we posered around a bit with the prefects. so...there are quite a number of pictures
