Ave Bodies!

I’m so like bored and school’s so like boring.

Not really lah.
Its just SO routine. But the great thing is : I Get to sleep during my spares or practice my violin or read or do my homework that’s due later =P
Math class was cancelled today cause Mr .DICKman had to go for a thing (Thaipusam??) TWO SPARES IN A DAY!!!!!
Grwr….I HATE STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its quite cool and stuff but there are just so many bloody steps! Maybe I should indulge myself in one of those 570 (750??) things that do everything for you. But I’ve always prided myself in not being in need of one. Choices. Choices.
Andrew (aussie boy living in Brunei/mekkah) will be celebrating his 18th this Friday on the Cricket Pitch!!! Haha apparently the WHOLE school is invited and he’s doing some carnival thing. How totally bizarre.
Sixth Form Entertains is this Saturday. SHOULD I GO????? But mummy’s having some guests over for somethingorother and I want to eat more oysters and abalone. Greedy Greedy..
I wore eyeliner to school today(inner eyelid)! And it like didn’t melt off! (yay for bobbi brown gel eyeliner)
Oh and I practically soaked myself in Red Delicious yesterday. I think my salsa partner was suffocating. Or maybe not because it was the end of the day. Anyway he smelt of the Creed thing. Too musky if you ask me. I wonder what happens if I wear both red delicious and be delicious in one go…..hm….might experiment one day.
MUFI day’s on Friday and the theme’s MIX & MATCH.
WHAT KIND OF THEME IS THAT?????
What do we even wear???????? Our original theme was cross dressing, then it became PJ’s and now they make it officially MIX & bloody MATCH. They don’t even elaborate much, just saying that this is to help flood victims in johor. Gee thanks.
Quite a few kids are from Johor so I asked them to just raise funds for themselves. Might come in handy when they’re shopping for stuff during prom.
I think our lit class is going to see a play this week or next week. I cant wait! Apparently its in some OLD hotel and different scenes are done in different rooms and the audience go in in two’s or threes and the thing is acted out. Pretty cool. Miss Carol is deciding between that or waiting for some thing at actor’s studio.
Havent signed up for compulsory sport yet. I hope Mr.Kwok wont come and yell at me (highly embarrassing). I was thinking, maybe I should play hockey. Or cricket. Or something. Anyway, KTJ is this really weird school where sport is taken MEGA seriously and is like MANDATORY whereas ECA’s are optional. TOTALLY reverse situation in wms. Anyway so far I’ve joined two ECA’s but nil sports. Whoopsy daisies.

Got to go to do nothing. Very important. See you all soon. Adsum.

BTW the supply and demand stuff is really like fun and easy. I just hate all the jargon and how it gets in my way. Apparently if the price of Cendol goes down the demand for ice kacang decreases so the equilibrium’s like lower so there’s consumer surplus or something. Half my class didn’t know what ice kacang and cendol are so we had to tell them that it’s a delicacy made of smashed ice and slosh.

Glaukopis Athene.

Thank you for coming to dinner (if you came) and I hope the food wasn’t too horrible. It’s my first time cooking for like fifteen people.

And thank you for the lovely presents.

Most of all, thank you for the largely enjoyable evening.

My school just changed my time table again. For like the third time since I came. I hope this one will be permanent. Apparently there’s been some hiccup and this is what happened:

Once upon a time in ktj, there was a boy who happened to be director of Studies. He was entrusted with the great task of arranging the time tables of all the brave and honorable sixth formers. But for some reason unexplained, he just upped and left before term started into the mysterious land of BEYOND THE GUARD HOUSE. When the authorities broke down the barriers and made their way into his inner chambers, it seemed that everything had been cleared!
DENG DENG DENG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In consequence, poor Mr. Sutherland and his band of faithful teachers had to come up with some make-shift timetable. Up to date, the mysterious disappearance has not been explained.

Cant wait to check out BV II with Kwong Kwong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If an economy is operating below the PPF it is then facing unemployment.

Vesperal Salutaions to you all!!

HAve got lit test on Translations later (as you may have noticed)

BUt yeah Have got a good two hours to spare before class starts so I'll go online for one hour and go to blissful sleep for another.
I tried out for the play yesterday (its some retro thing called BIG HAIR) and I'm in the chorus!
haha I didn't expect to get anything because my reading was so bad at the audition (didn't bring my glasses) XD
and how is all and sundry doing at help and er...ram??
Doing chem experiments in red I see. heehee how fun!!!! I miss doing kimia stuff =( =(
Its SO weird not doing at least a science.
But arts is pretty cool as well.
I find it so weird that some kids (at least half of them) here dont do math AT ALL!
I mean, how's that supposed to get you to university???
They're really brave though, they do cool subjects like drama, theatre and business studies. I suppose I do envy them a little.

Have got a pool party later where we're divided into groups and we have to perform. My genius leader has come up with this wonderful idea where he'll be some pussycat doll and I have to be snoop dog in buttons. URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOo bad I missed the meeting and or else I would have MADE them do SUKIYANEN OSAKA!!!!! *hearts*
Oh and I'm staying over in school tonight. ickles.
I'll tell you how fun/horrid it is later.

Hey wonderful bodies frolicking in romanticism/help
I ESCAPED CROSS COUNTRY!! heheh
my housemistress didn't put my name down.
Firstly, allow me to declare my love for you all and how much I miss you! (lynn,rah,steph,stef,sa)

Now let me tell you about this wonderful subject called GP which I take instead of Moral/M'sian Studies:

ITS FREAKING COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we learn about application of math in daily life, imprtance of fashion , HISTORY OF LANGUAGES!!!! literature, history of art, politics, democracy, concept of freedom of speech...etc...... I'm really really excited about this

ok i'm done

and tons of stuff in my school are free :
free textbooks
free excercise books
free graph books
free TEST PADS etc.etc.
argh!!!! WE WERE SO RIPPED OFF BY WMS (which has now turned into a hole btw)

and yes I miss hanging out in a clique. I HATE to admitt this but we were (are) a clique. I've always despised them but now I just realise we're one of them so they're ok. I see a bunch of girls hanging together and I miss being with us. But I also wonder if we made all the new comers to our school feel intimidated and left out like I was on my first day.
But yeah I learnt to make friends after the first couple of periods.
Most of them are frm brunei but my favourite is this girl called anyssa/anissa? (i'm really bad with names) she's half saudi and lived in DUBAI. I LOVE her voice: its deep and rich, like butter scotch. and she reminds me of celeste (liberty yu not chan). and this girl called fitrah but everyone calls her yaya! she's TINY!!!! Tinier than joann chan! she's soooo cute! she wears a white hearband and carries a pink jelly bag around =D
we're having a pool party for 6th formers next thurs! (have nothing to wear)
Oh and compulsory sport is...yucky
I take yoga and pretend to play badminton.
but they also have salsa dancing!!! which i'm so going to join!!!!

ah yes and so you all've heard that lynn's met ryo boy
I WILL INTRO SOMEDAY!!!! he's friends with james as well actually.
dont worry lynn! you're FATED to meet R.B. anyway. its written in the stars!

First Day Of School

yes I'm blogging in school. In a place called the sixth form centre. Where all the sixth formers hang out. apparently.
Everyone is at cross country but there are some people here with me. Dunno why.
Cross country’s on Friday by the way and its COMPULSORY.
YUCK.
Everybody’s been training for like 2 weeks and I get to train for a grand total of

0 days

that’s right.

And I’m still expected to run 4 point freaking 2 km!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno which clubs to join but there’s an interact club. Maybe I’ll just go there.
And I dunno which sports to join (I have to as well =( )
On the up side, I have no moral studies or Malaysian studies or whatever.
Instead I have GP, which is really interesting but a tad pointless.

And I look fat in my uniform

I couldn’t find any nice round toed mary janes to wear to school so I bought dress shoes for boys! (the kind men wear to formal stuff) haha I had to get the biggest size in the kid’s department. The shoe lady was looking at me all funny when I tried them on.

My head girl – Hui Shurn has been really helpful and showing me around. She also happens to be my kindergarten friend, primary school friend, and class mate and speech and drama! I knew the world was small but this is….tiny.

If you guys (hcl-ers) don’t mind, can we have dinner on a Sunday? Cuz all Saturdays are occupied/full for other bodies (you know who you are).

Hm….the place is strangely silent now and my typing really noisy…. Where did everybody go???????????????

Oh, there’s somebody on the other side. Phew.

By the way, we’re doing translations for lit as well. They’re WAY ahead. They’ve already finished act one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have a real test on FRIDAY *dies*
And I’m so bhind in eco. The teacher was drawing all these graphs and talking about x’s and y’s and I was just like =.=??
Same thing happened in eco.
GP was better cuz this is their first lesson.

Oh and they sell secret recipe cakes in school. I can just see all the lard piling on (on to me, that is).
Tried to make friends.
Really.
I was nice and smiley and agreeable to complete strangers.
But yeah I just had nothing to say to them.
Grwr…if only I had come earlier.
Just got elsa’s sms.

6 Days Of HELP

ok so everybody's always known that I've needed help and now that I've actually gone for six days of help. I"M STILL AS WEIRD. surprise surprise.

so I was being lame. nothing new.

But really, tomorrow's my last day at help. KTJ got smart and like FAXED the letter to my dad's office instead of through snail mail as first intended. So tomorrow I'm going to go pay my fees, buy my uniform etc.. then go for college in the afternoon. I hope I make it in time to go for a last lit class and chem class. Then I have to leave the darlings and my lovely chem class and lit teacher behind. forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

BRING ME SQUARE EGGS SARAH!

Anyway, seeing that it's impossible to have my birthday dinner on a Saturday, we'll just have to have it on a Sunday. I dont know how we're going to arrange coming and going transport but YOU ALL HAVE TO COME. I"M MAKING A 6-8 COURSE GOURMET DINNER SO I"LL WHACK ANYBODY WHO CANT COME, DOESN'T FEEL LIKE COMING OR DOESN'T COME BECAUSE HAS NOTHING TO WEAR.

Really sad bout leaving help though. Poor lynn. Wish I never came in the first place. Then I'd be ok about going to ktj

So Classes have started and we've actually got some work to do (math)
and you think everything's all settled and I'm planning my wardrobe and schedule.
Wrong.
KTJ called my dad today and offered me a mega FULL scholarhip. as in I have to pay almost nothing. i even get a discount on deposit and lodging.
So my mom's over the moon and the rents are thinking of making me change schools.
yay.
Dont get me wrong, I like KTJ (orchestra! uniforms! nice buildings!) but I've just gotten used to the idea of spending the next 18 months at help. I've also just gotten used to being with my friends 24/7 again.(we havent actually done so since form 4). Plus i've gotten too used to getting up late and.....doing nothing in between classes.

So this is really hard for me.
Fate doesn't usually knock at your door twice.
Thats why Bethoven composed that symphony and why movies,songs and books are written about the stuff.
So, what happens when it DOES????
Is it actually destiny? OR Is it a test???
How am I supposed to decide? (maybe this is where the rents come in)
grwr...........................................
So Many thoughts in my head
there are two roads to walk down
and one road to choose
and I'm thinking over the things that you said
on the other hand, am going to buy cheap reads with kwong kwong tomorrow!
school ends at twelve! heehee.
Then again, elsa has no classes tomorrow .hmph.
I have exactly one day to decide if I want the scholarship.
God send me a sign.
and save our files.
heh.

Oh and i MUST tell you about the PEDDERRED SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to klcc on Sunday with momster and PEDDERRED WAS ON SALE (ok so you knew that)
and mommy let me buy shoes!!!!!!!!!! (she's NEVER lets me)
dream shoes from my dream shoe store...... =)

CONGRATULATIONS KWONGSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes once again we all have been stunned (well not really, deep down inside we expected it) by the sheer geniusness of Kaywong kaywong (kwong).
Hopefully she'll get to do the double degree thingy.

So it was orientation today.
and we're officially students of HELP. (student id and all)
But it's still so surreal.
Its like the holiday's still and on going thing and I'm just waiting for the right time to get my uniform tailormade. Or hunting for the perfect hair ribbon. wondering if they'll change my class.
etc.etc.
I'll try to get used to it.
Eventually.
Got to go shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have like nil clothes for college.
Or bags
Or shoes.
Or money. = Big Problem
Maybe mummy will fund my new wardrobe. heehee.
Now I'm trying to decide between lit and physics.
Trying to decide between an easier A or 'life experience'
urgh
More choices that I have to make
Once again I need God to send me a sign. (that is once i find a God to BELIEVE in)
I wonder if Beebee is doing alright. BEE SEND US A SIGN AS WELL!!!!!!!!! a shooting star or two will do.
In any case, I'm glad most of us will be together at help (minus behbeh). Hopefullf stef's om will come around. real soon.

Hello BODIES!!!

Blogger REFUSES to allow to post any pictures so ,- no pictures of prom

I've decided to go to HELP. as in university college.

Which is kind of saddening because I had to reject scholarships from sevenoaks (uk) and KTJ (mantin). But grampees says help is fun so I guess it be ok.

I also wanted to post pictures from my trip to randomland but yeah, not happening.

It was REALLY PRETTY like walking in a post card 24/7 and all the picture backgrounds looked awesome (wish I could say the same about the body in it). I got to stay in these ancient chinese cities that were thousands of years old and had the original cobble stone streets!!! BTW this is in yunnan near tibet and on the himalayas.
Oh elsa's back from her Spore Stunt and she be meeting us at Helpe de main.
Going to Help also means I get to continue my French lessons!!! whoopy!!!

and lynn be at helpe too! couldn't run away from us haha. Really looking forward to being with the girls again (except bee and kim)
Hopefully stef's mommy will see the light soonand she'll be able to join us. Mc sounds horrid (like wms old block but like....older)

To Lin: if you ever read this I'm sorry we couldn't throw you a farewell party!! wrong info + me arriving on the day you were leaving = very bad timing. we'll have another one when you get back.
